Just heard our latest single ‘Fade Away’ is going to be played on BBC Sussex & BBC Surrey’s BBC Introducing Track of the Day! It’ll be played on Sarah Gorrell’s Drivetime show at around 4.40pm on Thurs 7th December – tune in if you’re around!
Behind The Scenes…Fade Away music video
Charly writes: “It was never going to be a straight-forward shoot, filming with your own children! Add in an asbestos barn roof and a disturbed wasp nest and we might have had a recipe for disaster…all saved by the calming and creative brilliance of Director Katy Holbird and inspirational, skilled hands of Cinematographer Annemarie Lean-Vercoe.

The song ‘Fade Away’, though upbeat in nature, charts a journey in grief. I wrote it originally with my mother ‘Kate’ in mind, who died some years ago. We had three locations close by, set within the beautiful rolling hills of the South Downs Way. The ‘tree’ in the video remained a focal point to which we all ended up at.
A few more dramas along the way included a lack of bass player due to Rob being caught in a pileup on the A27 – step in our amazing Production Assistant Jack ‘of many skills’ Perry to the rescue!

We got the final shot as the sun was setting. Two youngboys completely exhausted by this point with the excitement of the day.”

Many thanks to Martin & Sue Brickell and Sarah at the YHA South Downs. Thanks also to: Maria & Svolt, Sasha, Clarissa Greco, Viv Vignoles, and Stu Cooper.
